These terms cover booking and taking skateboard lessons with Skate Lessons with Paul ("we", "us", "Paul") and using this website. By booking a lesson, booking a call, or sending a message through this site, you agree to them. If you are booking for a child, you agree on their behalf as their parent or legal guardian.
The Lessons
Every lesson is a private, 1-on-1 session held outdoors at a public skatepark: Tequesta Trace Park, 600 Indian Trace, Weston, FL 33326, and Justice Skatepark, 750 Knights Rd, Hollywood, FL 33021. The park is chosen when you book. Lessons are open to kids and adults at every level.
The parks are public facilities run by their cities. We do not own or control them, their opening hours, their condition, or other people using them, and you agree to follow each park's posted rules.
Booking And Payment
You book by text, phone, Instagram message, the contact form or the call scheduler on this site. A lesson is confirmed once a time and park are agreed.
Payment is by a Stripe invoice sent to your email. Current prices are on the home page: a single session, or packages of 4, 8 or 16 sessions at a lower price per session. [CONFIRM: when the invoice must be paid, e.g. before the first lesson]
Package sessions are for the skater named at booking. [CONFIRM: whether packages expire, and after how long]
Cancellations And Weather
Cancellations need 24 hours' notice. See the Lesson And Cancellation Policy for what happens with late cancellations, no-shows and weather.
Safety
Skateboarding carries a real risk of injury. Every skater, or their parent or guardian, must accept the Liability Waiver before their first lesson. [CONFIRM: protective gear rule, e.g. helmets required for every lesson and pads required for under-18s]
Paul may pause or end a lesson if he believes continuing is unsafe, including because of weather, the park's condition, or a skater's behaviour.
Minors
A parent or legal guardian books and pays for any skater under 18, accepts these terms and the waiver for them, and stays reachable during the lesson. Parents are welcome to watch the whole lesson from the side of the park.
Photos And Video
Paul sometimes films or photographs lessons, and may post clips on Instagram or this site. [CONFIRM: proposed: nobody under 18 is posted without a parent's or guardian's permission, and any skater can ask not to be filmed or ask for a post to come down by texting 954-865-9827]

The content on this site is for general information. Prices and availability can change; the price on your invoice is the price you pay. Do not misuse the site or its forms, including by sending spam or someone else's details.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising from any lesson or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the lesson or package concerned. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Broward County, Florida.
