This policy explains what Skate Lessons with Paul collects through this website and when you book a lesson, and what we do with it.
What We Collect
- What you send us: your name, email, phone number, which park, who the lessons are for, and anything you write in a message or when you book a call.
- Booking details: the date and time of calls and lessons, and the skater's level and age where you share them.
- Payment: invoices are sent and paid through Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us, and are handled under Stripe's privacy policy.
- Site usage: first-party analytics record pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, the page you came from, and a random visitor id kept in your browser. We use it to understand which pages help people book. It is not sold or used for advertising.
How We Use It
- To reply to you, schedule and remind you about calls and lessons, and send invoices.
- To keep a record of what was booked and agreed, including the consent you gave.
- To improve the website.
We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails or texts unless you ask for them.
Who Handles It
The site and its records run on the Dash4Devs platform, emails are sent through its email providers, maps are Google Maps, the Instagram feed is embedded from Instagram, and payments go through Stripe. Each receives only what it needs to do that job. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Children
Lessons for anyone under 18 are booked by a parent or guardian, and we ask for the parent's contact details, not the child's. If you believe a child has sent us their details directly, text 954-865-9827 and we will delete them.
How Long We Keep It
Messages and booking records are kept while you are taking lessons and for a reasonable time after, then deleted or anonymised. [CONFIRM: a set retention period, if Paul wants one stated]
Your Choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop any reminder emails, by texting or calling 954-865-9827. [CONFIRM: an email address for privacy requests]
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
